Each school building shall provide the necessary safe drinking water protocol for testing and any necessary action in accordance with the Ohio Administrative Code.

The Local Water Inspector shall cooperate with the Board of Health to identify potential hazards to drinking water, to monitor school drinking water for elevated levels of lead, and to remediate such conditions if found.

If required, water testing and any necessary remediation actions, such as flushing the plumbing system, shall be in accordance with the guidelines established by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the requirements of State law.
