The naming of school buildings is a function of the West Clermont Local Board of Education. No school building will be named in honor of any living person. It shall be the general policy of the district to name individual schools in accordance with the geographic area the school serves. If the school is not to be named according to its geographic area, then the Board shall direct the Superintendent to form a special advisory committee to prepare a list of alternative names. This list of alternatives shall be presented to the Board for consideration and action.
