4433.01 - VACATION ADDENDUM
The Paulding County Educational Service Center and the Van Wert County Educational Service Center shall become a merged entity on July 1, 1998. Therefore, in order to protect employees from losing benefits in the area of vacation under newly adopted policies, the following rules shall apply:
| A. | On June 30, 1998, employees with more than twenty-five (25) days of accumulated vacation shall be capped at their present level. | |
| B. | Payment for accumulated vacation shall be as follows: | |
| Upon retirement and/or resignation in accordance with (R.C. 3319.084) eligible employees (twelve (12) months) shall receive payment for their daily rate for unused vacation earned with the Educational Service Center Governing Board. Payment shall not exceed the amount of days accrued during the last three (3) years of employment and shall be limited to no more than the vacation amount capped on June 30, 1998. |
Those employees meeting the requirements of this addendum are listed (list attached). All other employees will follow vacation/payment for accumulated vacation policies adopted by the merged entity, effective July 1, 1998.
