1005 - MASTER CONTRACT PROVISIONS APPLICABLE TO NON-BARGAINING UNIT EMPLOYEES

The following provisions shall clarify fringe benefit provisions of all non-bargaining unit employees. Employees addressed in this policy shall include: the Superintendent, the Treasurer, both elementary principals, the 7-12 principal, the 7-12 assistant principal, the Superintendent's secretary, the assistant treasurer, the technology coordinator, the Transportation Director, and the Food Services Director.

 

More specifically, this policy shall delineate what Master Contract provisions shall and/or shall not apply to employees in the above classifications.

   
 

Tuition Reimbursement

This section of Master Contract does not apply to any of the above employees.

   
 

Contract Sequence

This section of Master contract applies only to the Superintendent's secretary and assistant treasurer's positions.

   
 

Vacation

Number of vacation days are to be specified individually in each individual employee's contract, including any changes in the number of days which might ensue over the duration of a contract, with the exception of the Superintendent's secretary and the assistant treasurer's positions (whose vacation days would follow the provisions of Master Contract.)

 

Tax Sheltered Annuity

All rights and provisions of these sections of Master Contract shall apply to all non-bargaining unit employees unless otherwise specified in employees' individual contracts.

Severance

 

The intent of the above policy is meant to clarify in general terms what provisions of Master Contract apply to non-bargaining unit employees effective the start of the 2001-2002 contract year, but the Board of Education reserves the right to adjust and/or change these benefits at any time. As Master Contract provisions change, it is the responsibility of the Board to determine what, if any, corresponding changes might be made not only to the sections of contract outlined above but to any new Master Contract provisions which might be adopted.
