The purpose of the Opportunity School/ACE Academy is to provide a different program and learning environment for at-risk students who are not succeeding in the regular school setting, or who have recently been discharged or released from the custody of the Department of Youth Services.

Whenever the principal has identified a potential student for the Opportunity School/ACE Academy, s/he shall seek approval from the Superintendent.
