2466 - PARTICIPATION OF STUDENTS WITH DISABLINGCONDITIONS IN THE ABILITY/ACHIEVEMENT TESTING PROGRAM
No student with a disabling condition shall be required to take or be prohibited from taking the Ohio Ability/Achievement Tests.
The determination of participation by each individual disabled student shall be made annually.
Parents will be involved in the decision to exempt individual students with disabilities. Parent involvement can be accomplished in a number of ways including the following:

| B. | IEP meetings | ||
| C. | written communications to parents requesting their agreement/disagreement with the decision to exempt |
Documentation of the decision to exempt or not to exempt a student with a disability will be kept on file.
To accommodate the needs of individual students with disabling conditions, modifications in test format and/or test administration may be made only in accordance with guidelines provided by the national test publisher.
No modification shall be made in the content of any test.
Any student who is granted an exemption from the ability/achievement tests shall not be required to take the test in any areas.
If a student with a disabling condition is not exempted from taking the tests, the individual's test results shall be included in the District and building annual report.
If a student with a disabling condition is granted an exemption, but takes one (1) or more of the tests, the results of such tests shall be excluded from the building and District reports. Such individuals shall be included in the number exempted in the District and building annual report.
