It is the policy of the Board of Education to approve sponsorship of functional occupational projects as part of the vocational/technical instruction related to the occupations being taught in District programs.

Functional projects may be accepted by the teacher with the approval of the director.

Careful consideration shall be given to each project to ensure that the service rendered is not being exploited and that the project is of educational benefit to the students.

Patrons shall be charged only for the actual cost of materials used in completing instructional projects.
