All overnight travel by the Board of Education members paid for or reimbursed by the Van Buren Intermediate School District must be approved by the Board at a regular or special Board meeting. All overnight travel by District employees paid for or reimbursed by the District must be approved by the Board or the following designee:

School Board members and District employees are required to submit both a pre-travel authorization form detailing estimated expenses and a post-travel form detailing and verifying actual expenses for approval.

The Board or its designee (President and/or Vice President) must approve all overnight travel for the Superintendent.
