4140 - RESIGNATION
The support staff member shall recognize the obligation to faithfully fulfill the terms of his/her contract until it is dissolved by mutual consent or by due process of law.
| A. | The nontenured support staff member shall have the right to resign for good reasons by submitting at least ten (10) working days written notice. | |
| B. | The Superintendent shall release an staff member from the terms of a contract when an opportunity is offered for significant advancement. | |
| C. | A support staff member intending to resign shall submit a written resignation to the immediate supervisor as far as possible in advance of the effective date of resignation. | |
| D. | The Director of Finance and Operations shall, whenever possible, conduct an exit interview with the employee to determine the reasons leading up to the resignation. |
