4140 - RESIGNATION

The support staff member shall recognize the obligation to faithfully fulfill the terms of his/her contract until it is dissolved by mutual consent or by due process of law.

 A.The nontenured support staff member shall have the right to resign for good reasons by submitting at least ten (10) working days written notice.

 B.The Superintendent shall release an staff member from the terms of a contract when an opportunity is offered for significant advancement.

 C.A support staff member intending to resign shall submit a written resignation to the immediate supervisor as far as possible in advance of the effective date of resignation.

 D.The Director of Finance and Operations shall, whenever possible, conduct an exit interview with the employee to determine the reasons leading up to the resignation.
