The Board shall provide Board-owned maintenance and operations vehicles, such as trucks and tractors, as well as vehicles for use by the operational services, food service and transportation administrators. The responsibility for directing the purchase or replacement of such vehicles is delegated to the Superintendent or his/her designee.

Board employees authorized to use privately-owned vehicles in carrying out their duties shall be reimbursed in accordance with Board regulations.

STORAGE OF VEHICLES OTHER THAN SCHOOL BUSES

Board-owned vehicles used by the operational services, food service, and transportation administrators may be stored at their residences or at such location as the Superintendent or his/her designee may determine is reasonable.

All other Board-owned vehicles must be stored at Board-owned or leased vehicle storage areas of the District.
