In cases where the transportation of students with disabilities cannot be provided reasonably and economically on the regular routes of Board-owned or contracted school buses, the Board may contract with properly licensed cabs or other public carriers for the transportation of such students to and from school.

It is the responsibility of the Superintendent through the Director of Transportation and Custodial Services to determine the impracticality of transporting such students on school-owned or contracted school buses. All contracted services (e.g., cabs and other conveyances for public hire) must conform with Ohio law.
