1430.01 - FAMILY AND MEDICAL LEAVE ACT
For purposes of the Federal Family and Medical Leave Act of 1993, as amended, the twelve (12) month period during which an eligible employee may use leave is defined as a rolling twelve (12) month period measured backward from the date the employee uses leave under the Act. The Board, as permitted by the Act, will require that an employee substitute (that is, run concurrently) available paid leave for FMLA leave.
