6320I - CHANGE ORDERS
The Board of Education intends to review and approve change orders in connection with purchase orders or contracts at its regularly scheduled meetings or, if deemed necessary, at special meetings called for such purpose. The Board recognizes there may be times when action on a change order is desirable before a Board meeting can be conducted. In such cases, as determined by the Superintendent, the Board authorizes the Superintendent, Treasurer, and Executive Director of Business, or any two of them jointly, to review and approve change orders in individual amounts not to exceed $25,000. The Superintendent shall report to the Board the aggregate amount and nature of change orders approved in the name and on behalf of the Board pursuant to this regulation.
