5111.02 - PRIVATELY PAID TUITION PROCEDURES
The following procedures are to be followed when applying privately paid tuition status:
| A. | Written applications are required for all privately paid tuition students who wish to gain entrance to the District stating the facts and conditions upon prescribed forms for such purposes. | ||
| B. | The Superintendent shall act upon each application. | ||
| C. | The Superintendent shall notify a parent, or other appropriate person under law, if the request for entrance is accepted or rejected. If the request is accepted, such person shall be informed as necessary of the tuition rate, how it is determined and the manner of payment of said tuition; if the request is rejected, such person shall be informed of the reason. | ||
| D. | All privately paid tuition shall be billed monthly in advance, payable by the 10th of the month. | ||
| E. | Each building principal shall be responsible for informing the Superintendent immediately of any student whose parent is not a resident of the District as shown on the student’s registration card. The Superintendent shall act in accordance with the adopted policy of the Board of Education and refuse entrance to those who do not qualify. | ||
| F. | The Superintendent may obtain information from a person or source other than a parent concerning relevant facts and conditions. |
