2262E - ENROLLMENT AND REGISTRATION POLICIES AND PROCEDURES
The Upper Arlington School-Age Child Care Program provides quality school-age programming, both before and after school, for children attending Barrington, Greensview, Tremont, Wickliffe, and Windermere Schools and who live in the District. Children must attend the SACC program at the school they attend daily. Parents/guardians cannot request to have their children bused to another site. Our program is designed to help the working parent/guardian with their child care needs. Due to the demand of the working parent’s/guardian’s needs, we cannot accommodate children who need after school programming for socializing or babysitting purposes.
The Program’s Policies and Procedures are implemented without discrimination in providing services to children and their families, on the basis of race, religion, cultural heritage, political beliefs, disability, or marital status. After review, students who have special needs or behavior problems that cannot be met in our group child care setting may be dismissed.

Registration
Enrollment will be prioritized to those families already enrolled in the program. Tuition payments must be current. The general public will be enrolled afterwards. Registration procedures and deadlines must be adhered to in order to provide efficient and fair administration of the program.
To insure the safety of the children and the quality of the program, SACC enrollment will be controlled by the space and staff that are available at each site.
The maximum number of children in attendance at one time at a program site should not exceed the number that will provide safety, group cohesiveness, productivity, and quality programming. This number will be recommended by the SACC Director to the Superintendent for final approval.
If registration requests exceed the space and/or staff available, wait lists will be established by program site. Families will be contacted in order when vacancies occur. If the number on the list exceeds that which is deemed reasonable for projected turnover, the SACC Director will inform applicants.
