1650 - DUES FOR PROFESSIONAL OR CIVIC ORGANIZATIONS

The Board of Education authorizes the Treasurer to pay or reimburse an administrator dues to belong to professional organizations that are related to education. The Board will also reimburse the administration for the cost of membership in one Upper Arlington civic organization. The professional and/or civic organizations shall be approved for payment or reimbursement purposes by the Superintendent. Payment or reimbursement shall not be provided for membership in any organization currently registered pursuant to R.C. 417.19 OR 29 U.S.C. Section 431. Evidence of memberships must be provided by the administrator in making the request for reimbursement to the Treasurer. Requests for reimbursements of dues already paid must be made by July 1st of each contract year for that particular contract year.
