The policies of the Trumbull County Joint Vocational School District are hereby amended to permit students to be "prohibited" from participation in any or all
extra-curricular activities of the District for violations of the student code of conduct for a period of time not to exceed the end of the school year unless otherwise provided in policy. Consequently, this Board of Education’s policy on "emergency removals" no longer applies to extra-curricular activities, and the removal of students for misconduct in such activities will be handled by prohibiting further participation in that and/or all extra-curricular activities for a specific period of time not to exceed the end of the school year. In addition, student athletes shall remain subject to the athletic code of conduct.

The final determination to the extent of a student’s prohibition from extra-curricular activities will rest with the director.
