4142 - TERMINATION OF EMPLOYMENT

Support staff employees who wish to terminate employment by resignation or retirement shall submit notice in writing to the Superintendent at least two (2) weeks in advance of the effective date.

The Superintendent, upon recommendation of the employee's immediate supervisor, may recommend that the Board dismiss a support employee if the employee's work is unsatisfactory or if the continued employment would not be in the best interests of the Corporation. Notice of dismissal by the Board shall be in writing. Such dismissal may not violate any contract and shall respect the right of the employee.
