Name

 
 

The governing body School Board of this School Corporation shall be known officially as the Board of School Trustees of the Tippecanoe School Corporation. The Tippecanoe School Corporation was organized on July 1, 1962.

Purpose

 
 

The School Board exists as the governing body for providing a tuition-free public education for students residing within Corporation attendance boundaries. I.C. 20-26-5-1

Corporation Boundaries

 
 

The Tippecanoe School Corporation is comprised of the area in the description on file in the School Corporation office.

School Attendance Area Boundaries

 
 

The attendance area for each school within Tippecanoe School Corporation territory shall be defined as follows:

 
 

A.

Battle Ground Elementary School

 
 

All K-5 students who are legal residents of the following described area shall attend Battle Ground Elementary School:

 
 

Starting at the intersection of the W County Line Road N and the west boundary line of Tippecanoe Township, south along the township line to the Burnett Creek, then south and east along the east side of Burnett Creek to CR 600 N, then east along the north side of CR 600 N to CR 75 E, then south along CR 75 E to CR 500 N, then west along the south side of CR 500 N to the west boundary of the Winding Ridge subdivision, then south and east along the west boundary of the Winding Ridge subdivision to the Tippecanoe Township line, then south and east of the Tippecanoe Township line to the Wabash River, then south along the east side of the Wabash River to the Lafayette School Corporation boundary to US 52, then west along the south side of US 52 to North Ninth Street, then north along both sides of North Ninth Street to the Wabash River, then north and east along the west side of the Wabash River to North County Line, then west along E County Line Road N to the west boundary line of Tippecanoe Township.

Battle Ground Middle School

 
 

All 6-8 students who are legal residents of Battle Ground Elementary School and Burnett Creek Elementary School shall attend Battle Ground Middle School.

 

C.

Burnett Creek Elementary

 
 

All K-5 students who are legal residents of the following areas shall attend Burnett Creek Elementary School:

 
 

Starting on W County Line Road N at the Wabash and Shelby Township line, due south to CR 500 N, east along both sides of CR 500 N to Morehouse Rd., then south along both sides of Morehouse Rd. to CR 250 W, south along both sides of CR 250 W to US Hwy 52, then west along both sides of US Hwy 52 to US 231, then south along the east side of US 231 to the imaginary Cumberland Avenue extension, then east along the north side of the imaginary Cumberland Avenue extension continuing on Cumberland Avenue to the West Lafayette School boundary, then north along the western boundary of W.L.S.C. attendance area to CR 350 N (Kalberer Rd.), east along the north side to Soldiers Home Rd., south along the W.L.S.C. boundary to the Wabash River, then north along the Wabash River to the Tippecanoe Township line, then north and west along the Tippecanoe Township line, then north and west along the Tippecanoe Township line to the southern boundary of the Winding Ridge subdivision, then west along the southern boundary of the Winding Ridge subdivision to the western boundary of the Winding Ridge subdivision, then north along the western boundary of the Winding Ridge subdivision to CR 500 N, then east along the north side of CR 500 N to CR 75 E, then north along CR 75 E to CR 600 N, then west along the south side of CR 600 N to the west side of the Burnett Creek, then north and west along the west side of the Burnett Creek to the West Tippecanoe Township line, then north to W County Line Road N , then west along W County Line Road N to the Wabash and Shelby Township line.

Cole Elementary School

 
 

All K-5 students who are legal residents of the following areas shall attend Cole Elementary School:

 
 

From the south county line and the Lauramie Township line north along the township line to CR200 E; then north along CR 200 E (both sides) to CR 800 S; east along CR 800 S to CR 450 E (both sides of CR 800 S attend Woodland Elementary School); then east on CR 800 S to Sheffield Township line (both sides of CR 800 S attend Cole Elem.); , north along both sides of CR 500 E to US Hwy 52; south on US 52 (both sides) to Wyandotte Road; east on Wyandotte Road (both sides) to I-65; south along I-65 (west side only) to the east county line; south along the east county line to the south county line; west along the south county line to the Lauramie Township line.

 

E.

Dayton Elementary School

 
 

All K-5 students who are legal residents in the following described area shall attend Dayton Elementary School:

 
 

Starting at the intersection of East County Line Road and CR 100 S; then proceeding west on both sides of CR 100 S to the east side of CR 750 E; then south along CR 750 E (both sides of CR 750 E attend Wyandotte Elementary School) to CR 200 S; then west along CR 200 S (both sides of CR 200 S attend Wyandotte Elementary School) to the imaginary CR 400 E; then west along the south side of the imaginary CR 200 S to Creasy Lane, west along the Lafayette School Corporation boundary to US 52, south on US 52 to Teal Road; then west along the south side of Teal Road to Sequoya Drive; then south along an imaginary line east of Sequoya and Apache Drives south to Rea Magnet property; then west and south along spur railroad tracks or an imaginary line 200 E to CR 350 S; east along the north side of CR 350 S (south side of CR 350 S attends Woodland Elementary) to an imaginary CR 350 E, north on the imaginary CR 350 E to the southern boundary of Point East Mobile Home Park(Point East attends Dayton Elementary), east along Point East Mobile Home Park southern border to SR 38 E; east to imaginary CR 400 E, south to US Hwy 52, south along US Hwy 52 to CR 500 E (both sides of US Hwy 52 attend Woodland Elementary School), south along US Hwy 52 to Wyandotte Rd. (both sides of US Hwy 52 attend Cole Elementary School); east along Wyandotte Rd. to I-65 (both sides of Wyandotte Rd. attend Cole Elementary School), then south along east side of I-65 to East County Line Road.

East Tipp Middle School

 
 

All 6-8 students who are legal residents of the Hershey Elementary and Wyandotte Elementary School attendance areas shall attend East Tipp Middle School.

 
 

G.

Harrison High School

 
 

All 9-12 grade students who are legal residents from the East Tipp, Battle Ground, and Klondike Middle Schools attendance areas shall attend Harrison High School.

 

H.

Hershey Elementary School

 
 

All K-5 students who are legal residents of the following described area shall attend Hershey Elementary School:

 
 

Starting at the northeast corner of Tippecanoe County proceed along the south side of the Wabash River to North Ninth Street; then south along North Ninth Street to US 52 (both sides of North Ninth Street attend Battle Ground Elementary School); then east along US 52 to SR 25; then east along the north side of SR 25 to the Wildcat Creek; continue east along the north side of the North Fork of the Wildcat Creek to CR 775 E; then south along CR 775 E (both sides of CR 775 E attend Wyandotte Elementary School) to the intersection of SR 26 E; then west along SR 26 E (both sides of SR 26 E attend Wyandotte Elementary School) to the intersection with CR 750 E; then south along CR 750 E (both sides of CR 750 E attend Wyandotte Elementary School) to the imaginary 100 S; and then east along CR 100 S to East County Line Road (both sides of CR 100 S from the CR 750 E to East County Line Road attend Dayton); then north along East County Line Road to the northeast corner of Tippecanoe County.

Klondike Elementary School

 
 

All K-5 students who are legal residents of the following townships shall attend Klondike Elementary School: Shelby Township - all students living outside of the Benton Community School Corporation attendance area. Wabash Township - all students living outside the West Lafayette School Corporation attendance area and the Burnett Creek Elementary School attendance area.

 
 

J.

Klondike Middle School

 
 

All 6-8 students who are legal residents of the Klondike Elementary School attendance area shall attend Klondike Middle School.

 

K.

Mayflower Mill Elementary School

 
 

All K-5 grade students who are legal residents of the following described area shall attend Mayflower Mill Elementary School:

 
 

Starting at the southeast corner of the intersection of US Highway 231 and State Road 25 and proceeding south along the east side of US Highway 231 to CR 500 S; then east along CR 500 S (both sides of CR 500 S attend Mayflower) to Old US Highway 231, then south on Old US Highway 231 to dead end (both sides of Old US Highway 231 attend Mayflower); due east on an imaginary CR 550 S to CR 100 E; then north along CR 100 E to Wea Creek (students residing on both sides of CR 100 E between imaginary CR 550 S and CR 510 S attend Woodland Elementary, both sides of CR 100 E between CR 510 S and Wea Creek attend Wea Ridge); then north and west along the west side of Wea Creek to Old US Highway 231; then north along Old US 231 to SR 25 (students residing on both sides of Old US 231 attend Mayflower Mill Elementary); west along south side of SR 25 to US Highway 231.

McCutcheon High School

 
 

All 9-12 grade students who are legal residents from the Wainwright, Wea Ridge, and Southwestern Middle Schools attendance area shall attend McCutcheon High School.

 
 

M.

Mintonye Elementary School

 
 

All K-5 students who are legal residents of the following described attendance areas shall attend Mintonye Elementary School:

 
 

1.

Jackson Township: all

 
 

2.

Randolph Township: all except those living along CR 200 E between CR 800 S and 1100 S and those living along CR 800 S between CR 100 E and CR 200 E.

 
 

3.

Union Township: all

 

4.

Wayne Township: all

 
 

5.

Wea Township: Those residents who reside on the west side of US 231 and students residing south of CR 500 S and west of CR 100 E not assigned to Mayflower Mill Elementary.

 
 

N.

Southwestern Middle School

 
 

All 6-8 students who are legal residents from Mintonye Elementary School District and the Mayflower Mill Elementary School District shall attend Southwestern Middle School.

 
 

O.

Wainwright Middle School

 
 

All 6-8 grade students who are legal residents from Cole and Dayton Elementary School Districts shall attend Wainwright Middle School.

 
 

P.

Wea Ridge Elementary School

 
 

All K-5 grade students who are legal residents of the following area shall attend Wea Ridge Elementary School:

 
 

Starting at the junction of New US 231 and the Wabash River south along the east side of New US 231 to Indiana 25; east along the north side of Indiana 25 to Old US 231 ,south along Old US 231 to Wea Creek (both sides of Old US 231 attend Mayflower Mill Elementary); then south and east along the west side of Wea Creek to CR 100 E, south along CR 100 E to CR 510 S (both sides of CR 100 E attend Wea Ridge), then east along CR 510 S to CR 150 E (both sides of CR 510 S attend Woodland Elementary); north along the west side of CR 150 E to Wea School Road; east along the north side of Wea School Road to an imaginary CR 200 E ; north along imaginary CR 200 E (the west boundary of houses and sub-divisions with access to CR 250 E) to CR 350 S (Concord Place, Aberdeen Way, Hickory Ridge Estates, Ravenswood, Stones Crossing subdivisions attend Woodland Elementary); west along the south side of CR 350 S to CR 50 E; north and west along the boundary with Lafayette School Corporation to the Wabash River; west along the south side of the Wabash River to the junction with New US 231.

All 6-8 students who are legal residents from the Wea Ridge Elementary and Woodland Elementary School shall attend Wea Ridge Middle School.

Woodland Elementary School

 
 

All K-5 grade students who are legal residents of the following area shall attend Woodland Elementary School:

 
 

Starting at the junction of CR 510 S and CR 100 E; proceed south along CR 100 E to CR 800 S (both sides of CR 100 E attend Woodland Elementary School); east along CR 800 S to CR 450 E (both sides of CR 800 S attend Woodland Elementary School); then east along CR 800 S to the Sheffield Township line (both sides of CR 800 S attend Cole Elementary School); north along CR 500 E to US 52 (both sides of CR 500 E attend Cole Elementary School); north and west along US 52 (both sides of US 52 attend Woodland) to an imaginary CR 400 E; north along imaginary CR 400 E to the south side of SR 38; west along the south side of SR 38 to the southern border of Point East Mobile Home Park, ( Point East MHP attends Dayton Elementary School), go west along the southern border of Point East Mobile Home Park to an imaginary CR 350 E, then south on imaginary CR 350 E to CR 350 S, west along the south side of 350 S (north side of 350 S attends Dayton Elementary) to an imaginary CR 200 E (Lafayette School Corporation boundary), south to Wea School Road along the west boundary of houses and sub-divisions with access to CR 250 E (Concord Place, Aberdeen Way, Hickory Ridge Estates, Ravenswood, Stones Crossings subdivisions attend Woodland Elementary School); then west along the south side of Wea School Road, south along the east side of CR 150 E, then west along CR 510 S (both sides of CR 510 S attend Woodland Elementary School) to CR 100 E.

All K-5 students who are legal residents of the following described area shall attend Wyandotte Elementary School:

 
 

Starting at the Lafayette School Corporation boundary (400 E) on SR 26 E and proceeding east along the south side of SR 26 E to CR 500 E, then north along the Lafayette School Corporation boundary (500 E) to the Wildcat Creek North Fork, then east along the south side of the Wildcat Creek North Fork to CR 775 E, then south along both sides of CR 775 E to the intersection with SR 26 E, then west along both sides of SR 26 E to the intersection with CR 750 E, then south along both sides of CR 750 E to the intersection with CR 200 S, then west along both sides of CR 200 S to the Lafayette School Corporation boundary (400 E), then north along the Lafayette School Corporation boundary to SR 26 E.
