The School Board encourages opportunities for certified staff members to develop increased competence beyond that which they may attain through the performance of their assigned duties.

For purposes of this policy, professional growth shall be defined as it relates to the opportunities to enhance the activities, duties, or responsibilities of certified staff members.

The Superintendent shall prepare administrative guidelines to implement this policy.
