7550 - JOINT USE OF FACILITIES
The Board of Education advocates the joint expenditure of District funds and municipal or county funds to provide those facilities from which the entire community, children and adults alike, may derive benefits.
In accordance with this policy, the Board shall, as either opportunity or need arises, and as it is entitled to do so by law, join with the Sylvania City Council, the Sylvania Township Trustees, Sylvania Area Joint Recreational District, Sylvania Community Services, and/or the local municipal governing body; the board of county commissioners; and other school districts in acquiring, improving, equipping, operating, or maintaining such joint-use facilities as parks, playgrounds, and playing fields.
