The Board of Education shall provide instructional materials and equipment, within budgetary constraints, to implement the District's educational goals and objectives and to meet students needs. The primary objective of such instructional materials and equipment shall be to enrich, support, and implement the educational program of the school.

The District will provide a broad range of instructional materials on all levels of difficulty with diversity of appeal and the presentation of different points of view. This material will be reviewed on an appropriate cycle. Administrative procedures will allow review of allegedly inappropriate instructional materials.

The Superintendent shall develop procedures for the selection and maintenance of all educational and instructional equipment. These procedures shall include the participation of appropriate administrative and instructional staff.
