The Board of Education retains the right and the responsibility to manage the work force. When the discipline of a staff member becomes necessary, such action shall be consistent with any procedural and substantive due process rights of the individual, as well as the requirements of any applicable Board policy, policy handbook and State and Federal law.

The sequence for disciplinary action will typically follow the steps below:

 A.Oral reprimand

 B.Written reprimand



However, in situations here the act or choice is extreme, moving directly to Step 4 can be considered.
