8452.01 - PUBLIC ACCESS DEFIBRILLATORS

Automated External Defibrillator is located in the main hallway near the trophy case.

Policy

	A.	One (1) automated external defibrillator (AED) will be maintained on the premises of Raymond School.
	B.	The AED will be used in emergency situations warranting its use by individuals specifically trained in applications of the device through a program meeting provisions of Wisconsin Act 7.
	C.	Training shall include, but not be limited to coaches, PE instructors, health services personnel and other staff.

Goals

	A.	Promote establishment of a public access defibrillation program in Raymond School.
	B.	Promote CPR/AED training for school faculty, athletic trainers, coaches and the community.
	C.	Secure funding to maintain the program.
