The Board of Education recognizes the value to the District to obtain the services of quality staff members who may not be available on a full-time basis but wish to offer their knowledge and skills part-time through a job-sharing process.

The District will consider job share requests only if the cost of employing two (2) staff members on a half-time basis does not exceed the cost of employing one full-time staff member.

The Board authorizes the District Administrator to create a job-sharing program provided it does not adversely affect the District or any of its current staff members.
