The purpose of the school-community relations program is to establish and maintain in the public mind respect for the school system and confidence that it is providing the best possible education for the children of the community.

Toward this end, the Board of Education shall provide parents or guardians and other District residents opportunities for information regarding State regulations and local school procedures, and will utilize, insofar as practical, all appropriate means and media to achieve this.
