The rule of non-liability of a Board member has been applied in connection with personal injuries, illness or death of such persons as teachers, custodians, employees in school premises to attend school or other functions on the payment of an admission price and members of the general public on school premises.

School districts, however, are by statute subject to the Workmen's Compensation Law, providing payment for compensation to employees for injuries sustained, as defined by law.
