7460 - REWARDS
In accordance with HB 617, the Perry Board of Education will reward the individual or individuals who first give information which leads to the arrest and conviction of any person who steals property from Perry Local Schools or who damages, defaces, or vandalizes the property of Perry Local Schools.
The reward will be as follows:
| A. | Less than $100.00, the reward will be $25.00. | |
| B. | Stolen property or damages totaling $100 - $250, the total amount of the reward to an individual or group will be $50. | |
| C. | Stolen property or damages totaling $251 - $500, the total amount of the reward to an individual or group will be $100. | |
| D. | Stolen property or damages totaling $501 - $750, the total amount of the reward to an individual or group will be $200. | |
| E. | Stolen property or damages totaling $751 - $1,000, the total amount of the reward to an individual or group will be $300. | |
| F. | Stolen property or damages totaling $1,001 or more, the total amount of the reward to an individual or group will be $400. |
Exempted from this policy are Board of Education officials, employees, or individuals from the immediate family of such officials or employees.
Also in accordance with HB 617, ". . . any record containing the name of the person and other information that identifies the person who is to receive a reward under this policy is not a public record. . ."
