4434 - HOLIDAYS

Paid holidays for noncertificated employees will be in accordance with R.C. 3319.087 which states:

"All regular non-teaching school employees, whether salaried or compensated on an hourly or per diem basis, are entitled to a minimum of the following holidays for which they shall be paid their regular salary or their regular rate of pay provided such holidays fall during the normal working period of the employee: New Year's Day, Martin Luther King Day, Good Friday, Memorial Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Friday after Thanksgiving, and Christmas Day of each year. When any of such employees is required by his responsible administrative superior to work on any of the paid holidays, he shall be paid one and one-half time his regular rate of pay."

In addition to the above mentioned paid holidays, the Perry Board of Education will grant non-teaching employees a paid holiday for Independence Day for employees on a eleven (11) or twelve (12) month working schedule.
