3243.01 - SCHOOL VISITATION

Employees, in order to learn more about their jobs in the realm of different methods, techniques, etc., may want to visit other schools to observe their operations. Employees may make school visitations without losing any wages or sick leave. They may do so if the following conditions are met (no mileage or food allowance is granted for this):

 A.Written Request:
  Employees must submit a written request of their plans two (2) weeks prior to the actual date.

 B.Arrangements:
  Arrangements will be made by their immediate supervisor.

 C.Approval:
  The employee must receive written approval from his/her immediate superior prior to sending his/her request to the central office.

 D.Conflict:
  The school visitation cannot conflict with the on-going education programs.
