2610 - EVALUATION OF THE INSTRUCTIONAL PROGRAM

It will be Board policy to require an evaluation of educational programs and resources at least every five (5) years using professionally recognized criteria and procedures. Philosophy of education, and educational goals, curriculum and instruction, participation of disabled students in competency based education programs, educational options, experimental programs shall be evaluated. This evaluation of the curriculum and other aspects of the educational program of a school shall be directed by the curriculum director, who shall report to the Superintendent. It shall be the responsibility of the Superintendent to report periodically to the Board of Education on the progress the District is making toward the attainment of its educational goals.

 E.Experimental program

Resource Evaluation

Resource evaluation shall include:

 A.Licensed and classified staff

 B.Instructional materials and equipment

 C.Facilities

 D.Student health and safety

 E.Student cumulative records

 F.Student admission, placement, and withdrawal

 G.Student attendance and conduct

 H.School guidance services

 I.Student activity programs

 J.Community relations program
