2241 - STUDENT REMOVAL FROM SENSITIVE ISSUES
The Board of Education believes that parents have the right to request that their child(ren) not be exposed to certain sensitive issues. While these topics have a valid and important place in the school curriculum, it is understood that occasionally a parent may feel that a particular topic will be harmful to his/her child(ren).
The Superintendent shall establish procedures whereby a parent may remove his/her child(ren) from one or more of the sensitive topics that have been identified by a District Review Committee and listed in AG 2241.
