The Board authorizes the Superintendent, other district administrative personnel, or personnel employed by the District to direct, supervise, or coach a student activity program to prohibit a student from such period of time as the person implementing the prohibition determines to be appropriate. If the student is prohibited from participating in an extracurricular activity be personnel other than appeal the prohibition to the building principal. The decision of the Superintendent, building principal or other District Administrative personnel is final.

A copy of this policy shall be posted in a central location in each school and made available to students upon request.

In addition, student athletes are further subject to the Athletic Code of Conduct and may be prohibited from participating in all or part of any interscholastic sport for violations therein.
