2271 - COLLEGE AND UNIVERSITY PROGRAMS
The School Board recognizes the value to students and to the Corporation for students to participate in programs offered by accredited colleges and universities in Indiana.
The Board will allow students who meet the criteria, to enroll in approved postsecondary programs while in attendance in the Corporation. Students will be eligible to receive secondary credit for completing any of these programs providing they meet the established requirements.
No student may participate, however, without the written consent of the high school principal or if such participation would delay his/her graduation from high school.
The Superintendent shall establish the necessary administrative guidelines to ensure that eligibility criteria are clearly defined and properly communicated to both the students and the institutions offering such programs to students of this Corporation. The Superintendent shall also establish guidelines and procedures for the awarding of credit and the proper entry on a student's transcript and other records of his/her participation in a postsecondary program.
