6210 - FISCAL PLANNING
The Board of Education shall collect and assemble the information necessary to discharge its responsibility for the fiscal management of the School District and to plan for the financial needs of the educational program. The Board will strive toward maintaining both short and long range projections of District financial requirements.
Accordingly, the Board directs the Director of Business Services to:
| A. | prepare a year-by-year plan for a five (5) - ten (10) year period the maintenance and replacement of facilities and equipment; | |
| B. | forecast an estimated expenditure budget for three (3) to five (5) years in the future; | |
| C. | maintain a three (3) to five (5) year plan of anticipated local, State, and Federal revenues; | |
| D. | meet periodically with the municipal governing board to review planned expenditures and the joint effect of school and community costs on tax rates; | |
| E. | report to the Board any serious financial implications that emerge from the District's ongoing fiscal planning. |
