The School Board of Miami-Dade County
Bylaws & Policies
Unless a specific policy has been amended and the date the policy was revised is noted at the bottom of that policy, the Bylaws and Policies of the Miami-Dade County Public Schools were adopted on May 11, 2011 and were in effect beginning July 1, 2011.

Substantial educational benefits are available to students through the involvement of private sector organizations in public education, including, but not limited to, donations of in-kind services, time and business, and monetary resources.

The Board will strive to establish partnerships with individual companies to seek opportunities for students and staff in new strategies and technologies being created in the business world and offer the knowledge and skill of District personnel in creating more effective continuing education for employees and members of the community.

The most common method for donors to give to the District is through the Dade Partners program and through separate support foundations such as the Education Fund, Friends of WLRN, Inc., and the Foundation of New Education Initiatives, Inc.
