9300 - SCHOOL BOARD RECOGNITION OF STUDENTS, STAFF, AND COMMUNITY MEMBERS

Exemplary achievements and contributions of students, staff, and community members should be appropriately recognized during regularly scheduled Board meetings. The Superintendent may develop procedures for recognition based on well-defined, consistently applied criteria that may include:

 A.Special Order of Business recognition for state and national honors or achievements;

 B.Board resolutions recognizing commendable achievements and contributions;

 C.Congratulatory certificates presented with a School Board resolution; and

 D.Superintendent's Special Recognition.

In lieu of Board resolutions, individual Board members may present ceremonial proclamations which do not require approval by the full Board and may be presented at school and community events.
