Bylaws & Policies
Unless a specific policy has been amended and the date the policy was revised is noted at the bottom of that policy, the Bylaws and Policies of the Miami-Dade County Public Schools were adopted on May 11, 2011 and were in effect beginning July 1, 2011.


Rental charges shall be established by the Superintendent based upon the facilities being used. The schedule of rental charges shall be effective as of July 1st annually and is to be used by Facilities Operations, Maintenance Finance Department only. Charges are for a minimum three (3) hour usage on weekdays, a minimum four (4) hour usage on Saturday and Sunday, and Supplemental Educational Services Providers will be charged hourly.

Standard custodial overtime charges will be levied when a custodian is required. A charge will be levied for each additional hour or fraction of an hour.
