Unless a specific policy has been amended and the date the policy was revised is noted at the bottom of that policy, the Bylaws and Policies of the Miami-Dade County Public Schools were adopted on May 11, 2011 and were in effect beginning July 1, 2011.
 

4121 - CONDITIONS FOR EMPLOYMENT AND RE-EMPLOYMENT OF SUPPORT STAFF

Applicants for employment or re-employment must submit an employment application, a copy of the social security card with correct name, and a minimum of three (3) acceptable references. Candidates shall meet the School Board's hiring guidelines and employment prerequisites prior to consideration for any vacancy.

The Superintendent shall develop appropriate employment procedures governing the recruitment, screening, selection, appointment, and employment of all personnel consistent with Florida statutes, State Board of Education rules, Federal requirements, and Board policies.
