The Board of Education encourages the enrollment of all school-age children resident in this District in public schools or in State-approved, nonpublic schools so that they may enjoy the benefits of a well-planned, educational program and the socialization possible in a group environment.

The District's Attendance Officer shall exercise all powers and authority granted to him/her by law to ensure that all children resident in this District are sent to public school or a State-approved, nonpublic school. The District shall take all necessary action to assist the Attendance Officer in complying with all statutory requirements concerning compulsory school attendance.
