In an attempt to conserve energy, reduce costs, and to support the preservation of natural resources, the District is encouraged to implement strategies which will conserve all forms of energy used and ensure that reuseable materials will be recycled.

The Board of Education directs the Superintendent to develop and implement both immediate and long range plans to meet these energy conservation concerns. It expects that the administrative guidelines and procedures established will be properly observed by all members of the staff and strongly supported both in educational program and staff interactions with students.
