6155 - CARDHOLDER SECURITY
In an attempt to better meet the needs of the school community and to operate in the most efficient and effective manner possible, the school district is encouraged to promote and develop electronic payment options. In the course of conducting school business electronically it will sometimes be necessary to retain certain data elements from a parent or community member’s form of electronic payment (ie: credit card data, debit card data, electronic check data…) for short periods of time. Therefore, the Superintendent shall develop administrative guidelines that address the secure handling of all electronic payment information used within the school district.
