The Board of Education believes that professional staff members, like support staff members, set an example in dress and grooming for students to follow. A staff member who understand this precept and adheres to it enlarges the importance of his/her task and presents an image of dignity and professionalism.

The Board retains the authority, in accordance with the negotiated agreement, to specify dress and grooming guidelines for staff that will prevent such matters from having an adverse impact on the educational process.
