4140 - TERMINATION OR RESIGNATION

The employment of a support staff member may, upon a majority vote of the Board, be suspended or terminated for violation of Board policies and in accordance with Civil Service rules and negotiated agreement when applicable.

A support staff member under contract may resign by filing a written resignation with the Business Manager or the Superintendent at least thirty (30) days prior to the effective date of the resignation.

Normally, any support staff member who desires to take another position shall be released by the Board.
