3124.01 - EMPLOYMENT CONTRACT FOR ADMINISTRATORS

In accordance with law and for the mutual protection of the Board of Education and the employee, every administrator shall be required to enter into a written employment contract.

Initial employment contracts for administrators may not exceed three (3) years in duration; following three (3) years of district employment, the term of subsequent contracts shall be no less than two (2) years nor more than five (5).

Each employment contract shall include:

	A.	A recital of the employee's administrative position and duties.
	B.	The salary and other compensation to be paid.
	C.	The number of days to be worked.
	D.	The number of days of vacation and paid holidays.

Such other matters as may be necessary to a full and complete understanding of the contract.
