In accordance with statute, all employees who present evidence of retirement from active service with the Board of Education shall be granted severance pay for one-fourth (1/4) of 160 and one-fourth (1/4) of any days above 200 but not more than 225 accrued but unused sick leave days. This policy specifies the manner for so doing. Employees not covered by the negotiated agreement will get the same benefits.
