4110 - JOB CLASSIFICATIONS

The Board of Education shall prepare and review, annually, a list of job classifications for classified employees. Said list shall serve as the basis for a salary schedule.

The Superintendent shall review, annually for Board approval specifications descriptive of the duties, responsibilities, requirements, and qualifications of each job classification.

S/He shall consult with applicable classified employees in so doing.

Each classified employee of the district shall be notified of his/her classification when employed and following each change in classification and provided with a copy of the job description for his/her position.

Revisions to job descriptions will be provided to the affected classified employees within ten (10) working days following promulgation.

Upon the request of a classified employee, the State Director of Administrative Services shall require a job audit be performed to determine whether the classified employee's position is properly classified.
