2280 - PRESCHOOL PROGRAM
The Board of Education recognizes a need to provide a preschool program to eligible children residing in its District and has obtained a license to operate a preschool program.
A child is eligible for entrance into preschool if s/he attains the age of four (4) on or before September 30th of the year in which s/he applies for entrance.
Parents of children enrolled in the program shall be permitted access to the school during its hours of operation to contact their children, evaluate the care provided by the program, the premises, or for other purposes approved by the director. Upon entering the premises, parents shall report to the school office.
The Superintendent is directed to establish written guidelines for the preschool program addressing the following:
