3120.20 - ORIENTATION
The administrative staff of the District shall provide an orientation program for new employees to acquaint them with policies and procedures of the District, rules, and regulations of their school and the responsibilities of their position.
The Superintendent or the immediate supervisor shall work closely with each new employee, particularly in the case of a person without previous experience, in order to ensure a successful introduction to the District. In some instances another employee may be assigned to assist in the process, but shall not be involved in the evaluation of the new employee.
A description of the District's program of employee supervision and evaluation shall be included in the orientation program.
