A.The customer will be given an estimate of the costs in advance of the work, except for standardized cost services.

B.A signed Customer Service Agreement and/or work order must be on file and, if practicable, a copy of the agreement shall remain with the job.

C.The instructor will note pertinent information about the service item upon receipt of the order.

D.No item will be released to the customer before the total invoice is paid in full. Arrangements should be made to have work picked up after notification of project completion.

E.The principal must approve the scheduling of all customer service work.

Fee Schedule

A.All parts and materials furnished by the school will be invoiced at current list price plus State sales tax.

B.Customer service fees will be determined by the Department Chairperson with approval by the principal.

C.A fee may be added when special equipment is needed to complete the order properly.

D.The instructors, after consultation with the principal, may quote a job at a special rate if it is determined that the job is an unusually good training experience or requires additional time in the lab. The adjusted rate shall be noted on the Work Order.

E.The normal customer service fee may be waived with a donation of materials and/or equipment of a comparable value, with the approval of the principal.
